Just a one-hour bus ride from Osaka, the Arima Onsen region is well-known for being the oldest hot-spring area in Japan. The refined Hotel Kinzan, with it's beautiful tea-ceremony building, is one of Japans's most famous hot-spring inns.
Hotel Kinzan was originally a high-quality ryotei (Japanese-style restaurant), and these traditions carry though to the present day. We provide a sumptious selection of dishes, all prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

Arima Onsen is located in the northern Rokko mountain region, which is one hour from Osaka (the central city of western Japan) by bus. The hot-spring waters of Arima Onsen contain special minerals which enrich the skin, making it supple and smooth. Meanwhile, the surrounding townscape retains a traditional atmosphere thanks to it's historical buildings and narrow, winding streets. Please stop by at Arima Onsen when you visit Osaka, Kyoto or Himeji Castle.
